What a better day to start a blog. It is rainy and just slightly chilly outside today. My fingers are cold, but my heart is warm. The kids are happy cuddling with their daddy downstairs and I am enjoying glorious quiet time. Silence is a gift I enjoy but would not want for to long.
My kids are noisy little beings. They fight, cry, laugh, sing and even yell just for the giggles. I love the sound of their reading, telling jokes, even just breathing. Sometimes, after I know they are asleep, I tiptoe into their rooms and just listen. My heart smiles watching their lips twitch, their eyes move, their body respond to the dreams of their imaginations. I will tiptoe out and they will never know I had been there...listening.
